You are not alone

I've now finished for this year and am back seeing clients in Tenterden on Friday 3rd January 2020. I have some appointments available in the New Year so do get in touch if you'd like to have an initial chat.

I know that Christmas can be a really tough time for a lot of people and a lot of services close down. If you find yourself struggling over the Christmas period, here are the contact details of a few fantastic phone and online help services, with friendly, warm and non judgemental staff who are there to talk to if you need them.

  • Samaritans - If you need someone to talk to, we listen. We won't judge or tell you what to do. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call 116 123

  • SANEline - offering specialist emotional support, guidance and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers. Open every day of the year from 4.30pm to 10.30pm. 0300 304 7000

  • The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) - free and confidential helpline and webchat for men. Open 5pm – midnight, 365 days a year.

  • Papyrus HOPELINEUK-  If you're under 35 and struggling with suicidal feelings, or concerned about a young person who might be struggling, you can call 0800 068 4141 (weekdays 10am-10pm, weekends 2pm-10pm and bank holidays 2pm–10pm), email pat@papyrus-uk.org or text 07860 039967
